The Tagore College of Nursing was established by the Tagore Educational Trust under the Parent Hospital – Tagore Medical College & Hospital in the year 2017 September.

The Tagore College of Nursing has received the Essentiality Certificate from the Tamil Nadu Government – Health and Family Welfare Department G.O.(Ms).No.282, recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi College Code: 2903228, recognized by the Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council, Chennai and affiliated with the Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R Medical Univeristy, Chennai College Code:679 for starting B.Sc Nursing Degree Course with an annual intake of 100 Students from the Academic year 2017-2018.
