Breast Feeding Week Celebration
Breast Feeding week Celebrated in Tagore Medical College & Hospital from 1st August 2022 to 7th August 2022. Tagore College of Nursing B.Sc Nursing students participated and won 1st and 2nd Price in various activities like Poetry Competition and Paper Presentation, Rangoli Competition, Skit, Villupattu etc.,
Yoga Day Celebration 2022
The Tagore College of Nursing B.Sc Nursing students celebrated World Yoga Day 2022 based on the theme “Yoga for Humanity”.
World No Tobacco Day 2022
Tagore College of Nursing B.Sc Nursing III Year Students celebrated “ World No Tobacco Day” at Government General Hospital, Chrompet.
The Tagore College of Nursing B.Sc Nursing Final Year Students visited the Chettinad College of Nursing and Sri Venkateswara College of Nursing as Observational Visit.
World TB Day 2022
World TB Day was celebrated by Tagore College of Nursing B.Sc Nursing Final Year Students on 24th March 2022 with the Theme ‘Invest to End TB.Save Lives’.
The Basic Life Support work shop for I Year B.Sc Nursing students was conducted on 17.02.2022. by Basic Life Support Provider Dr.Jayanthi , Vice Principal Sree Venkateswara College of Nursing.
Skit Competition:
The Tagore College of Nursing B.Sc Nursing III Year students participated in the Skit Competition to be a part of Azadi Ki Amrit Mahotrsav Celebrations organized by the Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R Medical University at M.A Chidambaram College of Nursing on 11.12.2021.
Observational Visit:
The Tagore College of Nursing III B.Sc Nursing students attended the Virtual Observational Visit to S.O.S Children’s Village at Tambaram on 23rd January 2022.
World Diabetes Day
The 3rd Year B.Sc Nursing Students celebrated the World Diabetes Day 2019 in co-ordination with Tagore Medical College Hospital to create awareness among the patients and family about diabetes.
The theme focuses on the impact of diabetes on the family and provides support to the affected people via proper network
World Breast feeding week
World breast feeding week celebrated by B.Sc Nursing students of Tagore College of Nursing. This week is observed from 1 to 7 August every year.
World breastfeeding week is celebrated every year to create awareness about the importance of breastfeeding and how it is necessary for a baby’s development.
Covid-19 Awareness Program
The Tagore College of Nursing students conducted the Covid 19 – Corona Awareness programme to create awareness about Corona Virus among the people living in Urban areas.
