Tagore Educational Trust was formed in 1997 by the chairperson Professor M.Mala., M.A., M.Phil., an Educationist and Philanthropist. The Trust is pledged to the noble task of offering state of the art higher education in the field of Medicine, Engineering and Humanities. Jerusalem Engineering College was started by Prof M Mala before starting the trust and is the Managing trustee of all the above colleges. The Trust has already earned years of enviable reputation by establishing Institutions offering quality education and train young men and women as dedicated, high skilled professionals committed with noble task of serving the community
