Tagore Medical College & Hospital is the Parent Hospital of Tagore College of Nursing established in the year 2010 by the Tagore Educational Trust. The Government of India, in their letter No: F No.U 12012/929/2009 -M.E (P II Dated 14.05.2010 from the Ministry of Health Family Welfare. New Delhi had conveyed the approval of the Central Government for establishment of Tagore Medical College and Hospital with an annual intake of 150 Students.

The Tagore Medical College Hospital is certified by the Government of Tamil Nadu with 818 bedded Multi Specialty hospital.
